TLDR; we’re going to hold off onboarding more nodes this week.
A major component of Arko is that the nodes can all update the code base decentrally. This process was tested to work last week and we thought we had all the bugs worked out. But it seems there is a bug where the longer the nodes are up, the less the upgrade process works.
If the upgrade process fails to work it’s not a big deal, the nodes can be restarted and updated manually, one at a time. Lamden running all three nodes lets us do this quickly and easily; something we cannot do if we don’t control all the nodes.
So we are currently looking to solve this issue once and for all and will continue this week with testing and troubleshooting.
I just wanted to keep everyone informed as we are all patiently waiting to finally be decentrialized and it is TOP priority currently.
